I refuse to give up my CD's even though the majority of music media is on streaming platforms. I have those services but still buy CD's. It got me thinking Sherbros...what technology are you stuck on? I grew up with CD's and they have a lot of nostalgic value for me. I love everything about buying a CD, from the search, the artwork, to reading the booklet. Streaming platforms have completely cheapened the musical experience in my opinion. Do you guys have any technology that you refuse to give up???

I use those to stack my CD's

I have a few of those that I use and they are good for artists I like their entire catalogue, but I still love CD's way more man. I have some great CD's that I can't even find on streaming platforms.

CD's, although I still have a box of cassettes and some vinyl, I wouldn't know how to stream music, I bought an ipod about 12 or 13 years ago and its still in the original box & packaging.

I used to be kinda into ''top tech'' then I took a ''year out'' and went travelling, I came back giving zero fucks about technology, only ever had 3 cell/mobile phones in my life, and I've had #3 for more than 10 years, don't think I've used it to make a call in the last 2.

That taking a year off really resonated with me. I used to get all the new gadgets and what not and was up on all the different things, but I took a few years off after college with buying a house and getting married. Now I don't care at all...not even a little about what's new. I work with people that always get the new iPhone right when it comes out and I don't understand it at all.

Paintings of naked women. Once cameras were invented it cheapened porn.

I had to bust out my CDs recently because I can't get my new phone to connect via bluetooth to my car. They all skip and are a pain to take in and out and organize. People that remember the cd era fondly are looking through rose colored glasses. They suck. Good riddance.

    DVDs

I love collecting DVDs and blu-rays of movies I like. Streaming is nice but there's something satisfying about owning a physical copy of something.

I used to find my porn in the woods like a good human. Reduce, reuse, recycle!

They didn't suck at all, you just took horrible care of them. I bet your phone is all scratched up too.

    Jerky life forever!!!!!

Says the guy with the silver belt! Silver is for geezers!!!!

I completely agree! I sold my DVD collection when I moved, but I loved getting new releases when they came out. Watching all the deleted scenes and extras...it was an adventure.

Reading that and looking at your AV makes me think Dana has had some of those delicious 24" meatballs.

Cds as well. I rarely play cds anymore as almost all my music listening in on my DAP via .flac and .mp3 files. That started coz where i live nowadays i just can't crank up the stereo coz of neighbours being so close. [or for Americans] the stereo coz of the neighbors being so close.

As a kid getting into music i bought lps and later a few cassette tapes then on to cds, so i like to have the physical product i suppose.

I buy CDs & DVDs and rip them to MP3/4. I want to own stuff.

Sometimes I even watch things and big brother doesn't know about it. It's wild.

I have an '06 Subaru with a six CD changer. I had it in the shop for regular maintenance and they gave me a new model of my car and it had no CD player at all. Not even one disc! Old vehicles are made better in my opinion.

I use that technology AT LEAST once a day. They can't make it better.

I used to bring my Discman to school and it would skip on the bus ride. Then I got the one that had anti-skip technology...I was invincible to speed bumps and pot holes.
