What surprised you the most from 203?

Personally I wasn't to shocked from the outcome. I was rooting for overeem and punk however I kinda knew that that was going to happen .
I had Rivera winning but still kinda surprised seeing faber looking so flat.
So although no major shocker on this card it was still pretty successful , just wondering what surprised you the most if anything
 
That i saw Punk actually make it into the cage...

His entrance music was awesome, his energy was awesome, Joe's pbp commentary on Punk during his walkout wa awesome. It was all building up to an awesome upset.

Then he got whopped like he touched Gall's girlfriends ass in the club. Damn.
 
Werdum coming out of the gates kicking Browne in the face flush.
 
What got me is that the was probably the worst card I ever watched.

Agreed, after the first year I kinda thought he wouldn't make it to the octagon . Props to him tho , took that ass beating like a man .
 
Miocic is calm and doesn't care about putting pressure on someone who has the power to finish him. He didn't even care actually, and the fight looked like Tom and Jerry.

His entrance was dope AF, walkout song was great. Was really rooting for the guy, but at the end of the day you need more than -2 years of training to compete with someone who's been training for almost 10 years.

I guess the thing that surprised me most was how Werdum came out completley throwing caution to the wind after what happened to him against stipe. Its too bad that it wound up looking like one of Andersons bad fights,all flash.
 
i was surprised Mickey immediately shot for the takedown

the reason i thought Punk had a good shot was i though Mickey wanted to strike with him and would massively underestimate him and get caught

No it wasn't, not even close. Joanne vs Andrade was good, Rivera shut down Faber, Gall destroyed Punk, Werdum hurt Brown multiple times and knocked him down and looked good and Reem vs Stipe was a crazy ass back and forth fight.
 
I was surprised on how much Werdum's fight IQ and game plan had regressed from the Werdum we saw since he returned to the UFC. Hope he can get back to the clean crisp striking he displayed in his Nelson fight.

It had three decent fights out of ten. After the eye poke Rivera got, they barely engaged. Werdum Vs Browne was one sided. Gall and Punk was not even worth watching. Reem and Stipe was a flat out joke. Sorry my idea of good fights and yours differ.

Who cares about the prelims? If you're watching the bottom of a card you're going to get a subpar product. A one sided fight can still be good and have moments. MMA isn't a sport of great back and forth fights. We only get a few fights a year that are awesome back and forth matches like Diaz vs Conor. There was nothing wrong with Stipe vs Reem, it's HW mma. The only thing I didn't like was Reem running so much but that was clearly a part of Jackson's game plan.

Watching the prelims you get a sub par product and yet Gall and Punk was a main card fight? The fight of the year was on a fight pass prelim (Reyes and Kim). The prelims are usually where you get nip tuck fights and the main card is where the letdowns are. You are talking about Rivera vs Rivera being a good fight ....you realize that was originally scheduled as a prelim fight right? Sorry I am not a fly by night fan and don't watch cards just for names. The next card starts off with Maximo Blanco vs Skelly ..... What a sub par offering. Sorry we just disagree, 203 was straight up dogshit.
