Guy takes in a homeless girl, turns out she's a hooker. She called the cops saying he held her against her will in his apartment. Guy goes to prison as a rapist, turns out the girl was a liar. Sad thing is, the guy's mom committed suicide thinking her son's a rapist.

Doesn't end there. Corrupted justice system fucks the guy over even more. Nothing will happen to everyone involved who allowed this to happen.

A judge later granted a new trial because of the ineffective assistance of the defendant’s attorney. On the advice of his new defense attorney, the defendant chose to plead guilty before the second trial got underway and we agreed to the plea.

I know it's a gamble either way, but I'd chose a bench trial if I am innocent and a jury trial if I am guilty

So true...I was 19, got off work at a window factory... It was a Friday... Felt good...picked up a hitch hiking bum...he needed a ride two miles over...cop saw me pick him up,pulled me over...dude had a knife and crack on him..cop arrested him and told me he'd been watching him because someone was robbed and stabbed by a homeless person in area...turns out bum was that guy...I learned that day.
