Stop giving a shit? I have trained on and off for years. Still a white belt. Probably always will be. No worries. Just keep working on improving your technique. You are where you are regardless of whats around your waist. If your really worried about it go clean out some white belt tourneys and you will likely get promoted.

Flame on, thats all I have to say about that

But really its not about tapping someone in training, IE: if for whatever reason I think Im better than you, then I will sit on my butt and work my guard and let you work to pass so Im giving you an advantage. Its partially about affiliation and being part of a team or gym, theres more factors in it and your going to hear this alot now that you posted this. The fact that you posted something like this shows you are not ready...

    There are 2 other options:

    1. Post 488 more times and get your Sherdog blue belt
    2. GJJ online training!

I suggest you buy a blue belt and just start wearing it!

You can have my blue belt. Then you'll realize there's not that much difference between a 4 stripe white and a new blue belt. Seriously, you ever think that the purples and blues are trying new techniques and working their weaknesses? I get tapped by white belts sometimes because I work on the weak points of my game, and try new things. It's rolling, not a competition. We're all there to learn.

Who cares? At the end of the day a belt is a piece of cloth. You are responsible for your skill level not what you wear around your waist. Keep training, but with an attitude like that I don't think you will last. You are probably the guy in training who never wants to tap even when someone has something dangerously locked on.

what happened to the days when blue belt took 2 years and actually meant something? oh ya looooong gone. because stupid Americans need a piece of cloth to tell them there good at something. University's should implement belting instead of diplomas they would make a killing:icon_lol:
