From my experience, any athletic shorts will be fine.
...why not continue wearing what you already wear five times a week?

I wear regular gym shorts right now, and they work fine. BUT, I hate how they always move around and they get drenched in sweat.

Board shorts are way better than athletic shorts you can buy swim/board shorts or fight shorts, there's always deals popping up for fight shorts. My favourite are forty thieves and nogi is probably second in my opinion. Just regular board shorts from walmart or whatever will be better and not move around or be pulled off.

Cage Walk is pretty much Sprawl shorts w/o the logos and under $25. What's your budget?

Dude, thanks for the input. Forty thieves shorts look like the real deal. I looked at countless reviews and they all said the same thing; comfortable, durable, sick looking, and pretty reasonable price at around 40-47 dollars. They have a drawstring and velcro closing so they will stay on. This summer if you order from their website you can get 15% off by entering the code SUMMER.

I say, Jaco, ADX, Warrior, or Nogi; which has some sick shorts as well.

Forty Thieves is top notch and they're really low-key.

Well, I'm going to try out a pair of cagewalks, a pair of jaco resurgence, and a pair of forty thieves, then I'm also going to buy a pair of 10th Planet shorts because they have them there at my gym.

Yeah that's what I've read in about every review so I am going a size up. It is super hard to find olive ones in 34. I finally found some and ordered a pair and a couple days later I get an email saying they are out of stock!
