Vote now and explain your reasoning if you wish.

Personally I believe that it is a LOT higher than reported. Perhaps 50%. But who can say for sure?

if you have good reasons, post them.

Before USADA? Definitely between 75 and 90 percent. Now? Obviously less.

During PRIDE era where they did not test - how many do you think used..? honestly.

But then again if EVERYBODY were using then it would just be an equal playing ground.

In modern era where it's much easier to get caught - how do you think the guys that DONT USE feel knowing that many guys DO. Would make you want to USE, wouldnt it? And thus the cycle continues, doesn't it..

Id probably say about the same percentage used in Pride that they did in the UFC pre USADA. Between 75 and 90 percent. Maybe a bit higher on that spectrum in Pride and a bit lower in the UFC pre USADA.

This is pro sports in a sport that was founded and pioneered by major ped users.

A lot more than people think honestly. Almost everyone is getting popped.

Make it publicly visible. I don't feel comfortable or confident enough to vote on this. I assume there are others who feel the same and will vote just to see results.

I can't confirm with sources but I remember in the news that a study done during the Olympics found that 70% admitted (anonymous of course) to PED use. Couple that with how much money pro sports brings in and the body compositions of many fighters and IMO the vast majority are on juice.

My thoughts...

JUICE THEM UP.

I want my fighters juicy, beefy and roided to the max. Let them max out and they are all equal rather than the guy best at cheating gets the legacy. Pump them full of roids until they are shitting muscle fibers (not pissing them like JDS). I want them to go in the ring and have a complete roid rage meltdown. Then we know they are all on equal footing and we shall be entertained.

I voted: 70 -90 to give the benefit of the doubt since I am not there obviously but really I would say like 95%

At some point in the year AT LEAST 75% use an item on the banned list. It's a certainty.

It's the same in every other sport as well, with the worst being The NFL. The NFL drug testing is a complete sham. There are huge loopholes exploited by the players. Collusion between the players union and the owners on this issue makes it very easy. These guys are free to use for most of the off season and free agents use like crazy until the moment they get signed... It's a joke.

But all drug testing is a joke and a sham. Drug testing is designed to create a perception of integrity, but in no way is designed to actually catch large amounts of cheaters.

Lets be honest right - most fighters use. How could they not?

And just because somebody tests negative for PEDS, does certainly not mean they are not using or have used.

If so many are using. Why not just give it to them? Theyve already voted through proxy that they want their drugs. That is the definition of a democracy right?

We need more fighters who are openly pro ped. We have Chael. Thats pretty much it. And even he doesn't rally to legalize peds. That's the scummy thing about it. If I'm a fighter. I don't want to take peds and have my opponent not have access to the same peds that I take. I would want my opponent to have the same choice. Whether he wants to use or not.

haha. If anything marijuana would IMPEDE athletic performance.. but try telling politicians that.

They view it as a pain killer so in that sense, it may enhance performance.

Or so i was told.

Went 50-75

Mendes and other fighters in the past few years used numbers like 80-90%, In think that is declining but the majority still use. As the efficacy of USADA's testing and strictness of penalties become increasingly more clear I think less and less fighters will use.

But as always: where there's dancing, there's screwing. And where there's money, there fiddling. Someone will always gamble and use, this is pro sports after all.

75-90%, 90% sounds about right.

Some fighters wont get caught but they wont keep winning like they used to.

When Nate says "Everybody in the UFC is using steroids" he is including himself as well right?

When I lived in Rio, all the BJJ practitioners smoked weed before rolling and believed it helped them focus
