Anybody have any idea about this stat? It would be interesting to see since 7/10 current UFC champions now have wrestling backgrounds even if some of them prefer to strike, that number is pretty insane. Is it largely because a great percentage of MMA fighters are former wrestlers or is it something else about a wrestling background (learning discipline in a competitive sport from an early age, the art of wrestling itself) that makes it beastly?
