What on earth happened to Hunt ?

I can see both sides of it..

Still like Hunt but he has always come off unhinged on social media.

Obviously the guy is fucked off he lost to a cheat (and has fought a bunch of them recently) and there isn't any financial penalty for it.

He did get a big ass payday though and didn't take *too*much damage.

Perhaps he's trying to get fired to chase some easier (smaller) pay days in Bellator.

I'm afraid this is at least partly CTBI, Hunt has taken crazy punches all through his K1 and MMA career.

War Hunto.

I see where Hunt's coming from.

Brock does not fight for a living. As it's been said this was a "one off," more or less a side venture for Lesnar to make some cash and hype his professional wrestling career.

Even if Brock is suspended for two years, it has little impact on how he makes his living beyond what seems to be some minor PR issues. It seems that in the long run, Brock will have benefited from this more than he has lost, despite the failed test and even if he is "punished."

Mark Hunt on the other hand, makes his living being a professional fighter. This loss impacts his career in a much greater way. It moves him further away from the top of the division, he's dropped in the rankings, and even if the fight is turned into a NC, he still suffered a defeat and that hurts his career.

So in the end, it's very likely Brock will walk away with a meaningless suspension, and the person who has to live with the most negative consequences of this situation will basically be ignored and receive no compensation.

Mark hunt is not wrong to be pissed.

Of course he's not wrong to be pissed. However, he's wrong to be acting like a little girl after taking a man-sized paycheck on the business side. The money is supposed to soothe the hurt butt. Obviously Hunt doesn't know how to handle himself.

A lot of fighters have childish reactions when they talk a lot of crap before a fight and end up losing, it is embarrassing.

BJ after the second GSP fight made a huge scene and drew that farce out for months in court with his mom.

Ronda disappeared after the Holly KO and ate herself into a blob.

Tim Kennedy after Romero made a similar stink over twitter.

Conor suddenly became "humble in victory/humble in defeat" Conor after Nate slapped the taste out of his mouth.

He's always been like this. He posted a lot of weird stuff on FB over the years. He's just quiet in front of the cameras but he's always running his mouth on social media.

Also, if you read his autobiography that he just released, you'll see how bad of a person he was/is.

Judging from his old social media posts he's been a bit unhinged for a while. Now that he has a legitimate reason to be mad, he's pretty much letting it all out.

Brock embarrassed him, derailed his career, wiped out all the progress he's made in the last several months and filled him with self doubt and he's not dealing with it well.

My problem with Hunt trying to take Brock's pie is this.

He knew what he was signing up for. Literally said Brock was juiced to the gills and shit. Still signed that dotted line, and for what? Hunt signed for his OWN piece of the pie. This was a contract, a signed agreement. And the double standard that (would have) went on is if his plan to KO Lesnar had succeeded, none of this shit would fucking matter. But no, he loses, so the moment he can jump on an excuse, he does in stellar fashion by going after even more money. Why? Because his suspicions proved to be true?? Then you shouldn't have fucking signed.

Brock should be able to keep his money. Ban him for 2 years or whatever, who cares. His name brought more money into his own pocket and more money in everyone else's as well.

Brock cheated, he won because of it. Hunt deserves to be salty.

Is that why Hunt landed 1, 7, and 5 strikes in those 3 rounds? Brock cheating has nothing to do with Mark doing fuck all to try and win that fight, even when he stuffed the takedowns in round 2.

Yes exactly, he was always this low. It just means he was the fakest fighter in combat sports. You can't hide from who you really are forever though.

Not really. Hunt has so much experience in combat sports (K1 champ 15 years ago) that he is just laid back in everything the real fight related. Fighting for him is like we go get a coffee. There is no fake and you definitely cant fake anything like that as soon as the fight begins. Same with pressers etc. Its just business as usual for Mark.

I also dont get why he is so riled up about Lesnar. Maybe something personal we dont know but its definitely not fake from his pov. Best thing to do is just completely ignore everything based on twitter from everyone. Thats mostly just verbal diarrhoe.

care to elaborate? I only know that he had a childhood that was traumatic with an abusive father.
