He's going to be fighting on the June 6 card in New Orleans. Who would you have him fight next?

The Louisiana card so far:
Daniel Cormier vs. Ryan Bader
Ben Rothwell vs. Matt Mitrione
Shawn Jordan vs. Derrick Lewis
Tim Boetsch vs. Dan Henderson
Joe Proctor vs. Justin Edwards
Daniel Sarafian vs. Ricardo Abreu
Joe Soto vs. Anthony Birchak
Brian Ebersole vs. Omari Akhmedov

Lightweight rankings
Champion : Rafael dos Anjos
1 Anthony Pettis
2 Khabib Nurmagomedov
3 Donald Cerrone
4 Gilbert Melendez
5 Benson Henderson
6 Michael Johnson
7 Edson Barboza
8 Myles Jury
9 Josh Thomson
10 Eddie Alvarez
11 Bobby Green
12 Jim Miller
13 Tony Ferguson
14 Jorge Masvidal
15 Al Iaquinta

Would give him another fight before he fights the ranked guys. Ramsay Nijem or Danny Castillo maybe.

Perhaps one of the guys that beat Yves Edwards so he can avenge his buddy.

James Krause.

Beat Sam Stout
Got a shitty contested loss to Bobby Green via nutshot
Beat Varner
Lost to Masvidal
Lost to Lazaro

A win over Krause would put him in top 15 territory. If he beats Krause, he should get Al or Jorge... I think Jorge is a better test with slightly less power. Poirier has a suspect chin. If you want to protect him from a KO, go with Jorge. Less chance of a KO than a decision or sub loss.

Naw....give him Al....all those other fights are s waste of time and talent. Dustin will be competitive at LW. Let him spank Iaquinta for his potty mouth.

Crappy call....Dustin should fight a ranked guy...period.

Poirier vs Iaquinta would be pretty awesome, although Al should be fighting somwbebody higher up the rankings.

Maybe find out if he belongs in the LW division and have him fight Gleison Tibau.

Iaquinta would be really good. Winner gets a top 10 or so

Does jury have a fight yet. Could be a good way to get over the cowboy fight/find out if dustin belongs.

I would say go right into the rankings and give him someone around 11 - 15. Iaqunta, Miller etc.

Dustin paid his dues at 145 and its not like he lost 3 fights there than left. He lost 1 fight and then made a smart decision to move up.
