I thought Eddie Murphy with Rosemond and Taggart in BHC I was great...

Bruce Willis & Sam Jackson in Die Hard III

More recently, Christop Waltz and Jamie Foxx in Django Unchained...

deniro pacino 'Heat'. they are not partners, but opposites whom share little screen time together. yet the feelings of respect and admiration they portray of their characters is stirring.
