If you can hurt him maybe make him bleed a lot it would give the fighter more of a chance. It was a nasty injury to his toe but he looked like he was going to throw up and was going into shock.

Thats a big if somebody can hurt him enough though so hes in the position being dominated receiving hard strikes.

Apparently Jones suffered an injury after the fight was over, while running around the cage, so hypothetically speaking, if the fight went to rd.2 he wouldn't have suffered that injury.

No man in the world would've looked at their partially decapitated big toe and not get light headed.

I would consider "Crippling Injury" to be the weakness of most fighters.

Nog didnt seem to bothered when his arm was the wrong way around. Not trying to discredit Jones hes a beast just saying maybe if he was in a war and seen himself bleeding like a stuffed pig how would he fare at it.

So Jones's weakness is his inability to laugh it off when a bone is sticking out of his big toe?

Good point, OP. We'll keep it in mind.

Did I say laugh it off?

No... enjoy trying to be a smart arse online...

Agree , I think seeing his toe like that had an effect on his adrenaline coming down after the fight and his euphoria from winning wore off.

Let this be a reminder for any future opponent coming up with a waterproof gameplan.

Go for his toes!!

He panics the few times guys have put him under pressure with strikes.

So you're saying opponents just need to take a chainsaw in to the cage and cut off one of Jones' appendages, TS? That will win it for them?

There's a difference in taking a couple hard shots and getting bloodied up and breaking your toes to the point of the skin breaking and leaking blood crooked as fuck.

are you like borderline retarded or something?

im pretty sure every fighter has a weakness to receiving hard strikes. and yeah, if you can nearly break their toe off so the bone pops out, thats a good strategy too!

Jones reacted to the injury after the fight was over and the adrenaline. the fact it happened during the fight and he was still able to continue his domination kinda precludes that as a workable weakness

no, you forgot part B of the mater plan. make it to the end of the round so the dr. will stop the fight!

the blueprint for beating jones has been discovered!

I think decapitation is only for heads, just sayin =P.

OMG REALLY???? Wow that's a big weakness, now all someone has to do is cut off his appendages and punch him in the face. Machida by machete Rd 1.

Dude I and I'm sure everyone at home got a bit light headed or nauseated by just looking at that toe.

I tell you, if he has a compound four point foot fracture, I think that could well be his biggest future weakness right there, depending on how well it heals. If I was a UFC fighter at 205 I'd be training stomps...

Ground against a high level BJJ. Not overall ground, but can get caught by a quick sub.
But he learns, and I don't really see how he could lose.
Maybe the power of HWs will poses some problem to him.
