What makes you happy?

Bingeing on drugs and alcohol then ejaculating via erotic asphyxiation followed with a couple episodes of Will and Grace and crying myself to sleep.

I'v been told Will and Grace fandom can be a lonely guilty place.

I agree with a lot of what Woody says here.

Also: seeing my three kids play together in the garden. My wife's ass when she's wearing her running tights. When the new, golden-green leaves appear in spring. The smell of frost on a woman's hair. Shutting the door to my study and sitting down on my couch with my laptop and a good book. The view from the window of my study (I can see the edge of the forest). Walking in the woods when the evening light is coming down through the trees. Playing boardgames with my buddies. Travelling, especially in Italy. Finding new intellectual pursuits (I hate stagnant periods when I'm not interested in anything new). Riding on a train into the city while listening to Plateaux of Mirror by Brian Eno. When it's a good day at work and I feel the love of my students (I teach highschool/college). Training karate when it goes well. When there is a good mma-card on. The world cup in football. The first time I saw van Gogh's work in person. When it's a whole day of sunshine (not common in my country).

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Lovely :)

I have Brian Eno's Thursday Afternoon on repeat at work at the moment. Amazing that something so subtle can have such a profound effect - instant peace of mind and contentment. I like Plateaux Of Mirror, too.

Yeah, he's someone I discovered fairly recently. People talk a lot at my job, so it's a really great to put some of his music in your earphones and just focus in on what you need to do. I also find that it totally changes the experience of just walking down the street, riding on a train etc.

Almost nothing makes me truly happy anymore. Not like when I was a kid and really excited for things as mundane as the latest Megatron toy. I'd say some things and people (family) just up me cope with the meaningless of my existence more than others.

It's kind of meditative isn't it, in a light and refreshing way. I love to play it for my customers, helps them relax.

He made Ambient 2 Plateaux in collaboration with a guy called Harold Budd - you may like Harold's stuff, too - f.ex. Avalon Sutra and As Long As I Can Hold My Breath.

To be honest, nothing makes me happy right now :(
I work, go to the gym too much out of boredom more than anything, train when i can
Thinking seriously about quiting my job and leaving town

I got a stemcell treatment on my knee. It was going pretty good, then weeks later i fell over on a 0-mph fucking bicycle accident. Foot was clipped in, wouldn't come out, got awkwardly dropped straight down on hip. Broke completely through. Knee re-fucked up. No weight bearing for 7 weeks. Fuck'n drag.

Now i could use 2 stemcell shots, but they're $1700 a shot! And Im kinda cheap.

you'll heal I've heard a lot of good things about hyperbaric chambers and pressurized oxygen to accelerate healing as well

I can't remember the last time I was happy.
