What makes people believe GSP would beat Bisping?

Why is out of prime WW a favorite against a fighter who is 14-1 at LHW and has wins over Luke Rockhold, Anderson Silva, Dan Henderson, Brian Stann, Matt Hamill, Thales Leites etc.?

Its like people dont understand why there are weightclasses. Bisping will likely knock him out inside 2 rounds and make it look easy.

I favor Bisping, but people probably think that because Chael and Kennedy beat Ping and GSP seems more skilled than them (mainly in the striking).

One weight class jump is massively overrated, see Masvidal, Cowboy, Whittaker, Gastelum, Rumble, Conor, etc. Yeah they have lost some but they have been highly competitive with top 5 guys a weight class up or even beat them. Shevchenko and Tate didn't move up from a lower class but they basically are natural FLWs and... Fedor and DC are natural LHWs... Hendo is a MW... Frankie is a FW... all had success a class above where they seem most suited.

However I favor Bisping because GSP will be rusty/diminished, or so I believe.

You do realize Bisping vs Hamill was one of the worst robberies in modern MMA history, right?
 
He looked like ass against the oldest Dan Henderson to compete in mma.

Hamil beat him we know this

He should have beat Chael but didn't which is what people should bring up

Many fighters have jumped a weight class up and did just fine, just like the MW interim champ did, just like Bisping himself kind of did backwards, fighting at LHW then moving to his more apropiate division, in the end they are one division apart, one being the GOAT from his own division moving up to fight Bisping, who is a good MW, but far from the #1, and i like Bisping.
 
Well for once it might be a fight Bisping DOESNT get rocked in
But I do see GSP grinding like he's never grinded before

You lost your credibility after you compared moving up a weight class to moving down one. Massively different things broham

Lets say the fight was competitive. When was the last time GSP was competitive against a legit LHW? So yeah, the point stands..
 
GSP will take him down at will. And he can outstrike Bisping. Does that mean he will, who knows, but nobody has been able to stop GSP taking them down. We shall see.
 
Maybe they assume the same fighter is coming back, not a guy who is 4 years older and who hasn't stepped foot in a cage in that time to compete.

I will be rooting for GSP but I would give Bisping the better odds of winning.
