Haven't done coke ever, but I do have some friends which are the hilarious drugs addict type, those fuckers keep tagging me on every drug related post they find on FB or IG... now, for some reason, drug gifs have become my go to answer to every thing.

They broke me.

Oh.

I used to have a coke problem in the early 2000s... so that feel.

Glad to read that in past tense.

Only one of those friends I mentioned is a close friend (more like a younger brother). I even went with him to the NA equivalent of this country and after a rough, bumpy ride, he finally stopped doing hard drugs.

Whatever makes each individual happy. For me that would be a wife, a loving family, friends, and a decent job. Barbecues on the weekends with a fat spliff. Friends over for the fights, concerts in the summer, bonfires at the beach. Love, happiness, acceptance, loyalty.
this sounds very nice

tbh i feel like having good people in your life would make such a difference on its own
i just assume that anyways, something ive always personally wanted x:

A healthy mind
this would be good too lol

and i think you gotta put something positive out into the world too. like helping others yanno when you can, or showing general kindness, which you'd think should just be a thing, but nah, so many heartless people in the world tbh. best to lift other people up.

also, bunnies. what is life without bunnies? not one worth living let me tell ya o:

I'm really surprised to not see the standard Conan the Barbarian "what's best in life" answer yet.

A purpose, something that brings meaning and happiness to my life.

Whether it's a passion you pursue, a dream job, a significant other, etc. A combination of them all.

Perhaps meaning and happiness might lead to your desires. Just wondering about it.

Enough money not to have to worry about money;
Enough health not to have to worry about health;
A woman and a child by your side to help you enjoy both;
Enough humility to know that you don't need more than this.

...and enough intelligence to discern "then" from "than."

Material things do not bring true happiness it's only a mask money isn't everything

There is no such things as purpose in life.

If you feel happy and enjoy 8 days out 10 days of your life. You are living a dream aka rich life.
If it's 6 out of 10, you are living a good life.
if it's 5 out of 10, you are like 6b other people on earth.

Any lower you are likely just a boring person.

Off top of my head:

Having the freedom to do what one wants.
Bringing positive influence to those around them.
Driven to constantly do something new

I am currently the happiest I've ever been, there is no one in this world I'm jealous of. I can 100% say I would swap places with no one.

Why, you might ask, how?

The answer can be yours for just £9.99..

Joking aside I'm being entirely honest and if I isolate it to core principles it's a loving wife and twin toddlers that I'm currently sitting with watching cartoons. I look after my kids 2 days a week while the Mrs works and I am proud of how I've done.

I guess it's having people in your life that you can step up for.

If I analyse all that got me here it was:

Genes,
Happy, successful parents,
A long education seeking fun and self understanding facilitated by trying every hallucinogen culminating in psychology study,
Manual skilled work in the open countryside on my own for years,
Physical training to peak capacity and success in combat sports.

All leading to being a father. A blessed life with nothing much to prove. The only gap in the picture is a lack of a successful career equal to my opportunities. If I'd focused on career though I'd have to have sacrificed another part of the picture. I'd possibly not be able to be a primary care giver only working 18hrs a week.

This leads me to a conclusion: That I am either only a tiny bit, or entirely not, responsible for my happiness. I didn't choose to be me, to be lucky.

How can we then help people find a rich life? I think first by identifying the qualities as I think we've done ITT. Then what?

I think classes early on would help. The philosophy of happiness taught to secondary school kids.

Either that or just buy my 1 to 1 Skype mentorship sessions..

For me, being rich isn't about what you have, it's what you need. There's people who have tons of material wealth but always feel like they need more, more, more. They stress themselves out and cross many lines to acquire it. Whereas there's other people who don't have a lot but are perfectly content and comfortable, they don't need any more. My father was like that. He didn't have a lot of money or possessions, but he had every damn thing he wanted or needed in life so imo he lived and died a rich man. Richer than a lot of millionaires or billionaires.

Lots of money and/or an abundance mentality.
