in no other sport could someone switch over from a different sport and become world champion basically right away. Then, leave, and come back 5 years later to defeat a man who was getting better while you stalemated your skills.

seriously, can I get one other example? no.

that achievement is remarkable.

The UFC is quoted as saying they copied the WWE business model. But damn, I guess life truly does imitate art.

Michael Jordan

1993 - left as a champion and finals mvp to play lil league baseball
1995 - came back
1996 - became champion, season mvp, all star mvp and finals mvp

So what is the other sport? Wrestling? Because that is a martial art after all...

Apparently Ronda could better and beat the male boxing greatest

That's because MMA is a fallback sport for people who can't make it in other sports or are just not very good athletes, hence the low figures for average fighter pay.

Michael Jordan? It wasn't quite 5 years, but he left a champion, then eventually became champion again

Reason he became world champion "basically right away" was because of his premature title shot that was handed to him due to his popularity that generates money. Had he been forced to truly earn his shot at the title, his chances of winning it would had grown smaller, significantly.

not a comparison.

Jordan was a lifetime basketball player. he had success in the sport he started at.

your comparison would only make sense if he had success in baseball

a premature title shot doesnt take away the fact that he was inexperienced. If I go to GLORY you're saying i'll win the championship just because it has been offered to me? That is simply bad logic

No, this is you making baseless assumptions about my opinion on Brock's fighting prowess. Show me where I stated that he had no skill or was inexperienced.

No. He didn't say that at all. He said Brock's success is circumstantial, and if he had to work his way up a ladder to the title, his probability to be successful through all of that as an inexperienced fighter would dramatically decrease.

If a muay thai Lumpinee champion was offered a GLORY title shot, he'd win right away. I guess GLORY also sucks, right?

you don't have to state it. It is just a fact. he fought for the title after 3 fights.

3

idk why you seem to think that is an advantage. compare that to the 24 randy had

3 fights is not enough to be experienced enough to win the title. simple as that.

if he went to mma first and not pro-wrestling, his chanced would have INCREASED.

Do you realize the Huge weight and age difference when Brock beat Randy??

it would be like MM facing Lawler

Brock has been a martial artist his entire life so this makes no sense. Also, heavyweight divsion is a bit of a freak show. This would not be possible in the lower weight classes.
