Their prompts and search patterns have improved significantly. I usually just bypass it for google but now they're giving reward points for browsing and search results look more accurate.

see attached image search comparisons using terms ''cat in a tree with the sky''

Even a blind pig picks up a truffle here and there.

Honest guess: Microsoft is investing heavily in a number of different technologies, not the least of which is AI. It's possible they've made some leaps in how the process requests.

They invested +10 billions in new tech, chatgpt being one.
They are going to use it in Bing.
Might already be using it.
Think they were already investing for sometime even before the recent headlines. Perhaps they started to implement some improvements.

I use Bing from time to time as it's default on my work computers and I'm too lazy to change it. It's usually decent, not perfect though. Like @lsa said they are rolling out chatgpt integrated with their search so it might be significantly better soon.

Google has been slipping for quite some time. Too many ads and sponsored crap at the top of their results, not as reliable as it used to be for answers so much so that I usually type reddit in the search bar with my question cause I get better results there, and the image search is inconsistent.

Satya is a very smart man and good CEO. Microsoft gets shit done.

Read that as Saitama for some reason. Had to do a second take lol.

Google gives you politically correct search results now. Try googling if men can menstruate
