Don't care. Hunt is awesome.

Hunt is a veteran in the truest sense of the word, he won a K1 Grand Prix, came over to Pride for a new challenge and then worked his way from almost being cut to a top 10 heavyweight.

He has given us some amazing fights, including what many consider to be the greatest heavyweight fight of all time.

As a fan of the sport I am disgusted at the response from some of you. The disrespect of a veteran like Mark who is a true warrior because he has been forced to voice a concern for his safety to the MMA community due to a lack of communication from the UFC.

This has nothing to do with his performance against Lesnar, it has nothing to do with your opinion about how he has handled the situation,

This is about a guy who has entertained us for 18 years with some of the greatest displays of heart the sport has ever seen voicing a concern for his safety and the UFC ignoring it.

Marks reaction is completely justified, watch the Bigfoot fight, he left everything he had in the octagon and probably sustained injuries that will ache for the rest of his life, not to mention the brain trauma.

This was because his opponent was so juiced up it allowed him to attack with more power but also take an extraordinary amount of punishment,

The injuries he sustained from that fight kept him out so long his opponent finished his suspension and was back fighting before him.

Then another one of his opponents tested positive after the fight,

Then he is told to get ready for UFC 200, only to find out later his opponent has been given an exemption from testing, then after being man handled and once again taking punishment from an abnormally strong opponent he still tests positive, and the test was taken in a time frame they could have caught it before the fight.

Its unfair the UFC have allowed him to take these risks and deal with the consequences that come from fighting juiced up guys and dont even bother acknowledging him,

But its pathetic when he turns to the community he has entertained for 18 years and they react the way some of you have.

Mark knew what he was getting in to, he said so himself before the damn fight.

He didn't care enough then to pass up on the biggest paycheck of his life, but suddenly cares afterwards because he lost and proof came out of what he already knew anyways with Lesnars test.

Exactlly, well said. I think the ones bashing on hunt are either shills or WWE fans.

Edit # or just shitty people

Needs to shut the fuck up.
Brock (and all others) needs to be fined, otherwise they won't learn.

He was told to get ready for UFC 200, then found out it was Lesnar and about the exemption, he said it was bullshit but took the fight, lost, gave Brock credit and moved on.

Then he finds out once again AFTER the fight the guy tests positive.

The UFC don't compensate Hunt for the extra damage inflicted on him, he has already fought the guy, they have gotten what they wanted,

If youre caught cheating after the fight, shouldn't the person you fought get some compensation considering they have to suffer the consequences of you cheating with things like injuries that stop you from competing and making money and may cause aches pains or even sustaining brain trauma for the rest of their life.

This is the third time Hunts been put in danger against a cheater and the UFC dust their hands of it,

Thats why he is mad, its an accumulation of a company allowing him to risk his life against cheaters and not being compensated when really he is the only one who was actually effected by the cheating,

Its not just about him, its about this situation in general for all fighters.

The problem with him asking for money is that he wouldn't have made the money he made without Brock Lesnar. He didn't lose anything, if anything he gained a lot. If he didn't go on that huge rant calling Lesnar a PED bastard and that he would knock him out even though he knows hes on steroids before the fight I might be a little more understanding.

Preach it, brotha man

Nick Diaz didn't say shit and this was after fighting roided Silva and getting suspended 5 years for weed

I'm on his side, but think he could have handled it better. He could have held out for more money when he found out Brock was the opponent, based on the huge draw, having the UFC over a barrel on short notice, and being at a disadvantage against an obvious roid monster.

And maybe he could have negotiated it behind the scenes after the fight, if the UFC thought it was worthwhile to pay him to avoid bad publicity.

It seems like he has nothing to lose, and maybe the venting on social media will help him move on. Good luck, Hunto.

Many fighters have been in the same position as him(fighting a guy that pops for juice)..People will try to take advantage...happens in every sport..Suck it up

I don't think anyone has ever thrown this level of a tantrum. It is far beyond Diaz level.

Sig: "CAN YOU SEE ME NOW?" - The beast incarnate.

<36>
I've always wondered what the fuck Bork "white and jacked beast inaccurate" Lazer meant by that statement. Is it a play on Cena's you can't see me? What if someone blind was listening?

Mark could have pulled the trigger

I don't see him requesting Frank Mir or Bigfoot's loser pay
