What is your favourite angle?

Since the age of 12 it has possessed him, haunted him…
What becomes of the man when he finally fulfills his dream, what becomes of the boy if he doesn’t

Sweat, desire, perseverance. It all paid off..
Will we still revere him, cheer him, call him champion or will he become mortal like us

It can’t be what I think it could be…”
Flair returning to WWF tv in almost as a decade as the consortium who bought all Shane and Stephanie’s stock to be partners with Vince while Raw was in his hometown is such amazing timing. I’ve always loved how it made sense continuity wise too with Flair being such a high paid, millionaire playboy champion. It was completely believable that he’d be able to buy all the stock and be a partner.

Great post and that voice over guy they used on the Bret vs Shawn video was the shit! He was the best.

that Valentine Tito belt chase was awesome, one of the first times I remember a heal champ running from a babyface like that. I know it was donw a lot but for some reason that one stands out for me. this might be my fav angle fro y early wwf days

I know people hate on bundy vs. hogan, but it was cool af. bundy and his 5 count was awesome. plus, his avalanche looked great to me, like how could the other dude not be crushed.

BUNDEHHHH

Mankind Taker because the story, the legends and the matches.

Undertaker getting buried alive and coming back as the deadman.

Magnum TA vs Nikita Koloff feuding over the US Title in Jim Crockett Promotions in 1986

The fiery good looking American tough guy vs the evil Russian monster during the height of Cold War Patriotism in Ronald Reagans America, it was the perfect hero vs villain angle for that moment in time

Reprimand this!

In retrospect it was silly as hell, but as a kid I loved Ultimate Warrior, and his angle with Papa Shango had me legitimately upset (as a kid).

It obviously isn't a GOAT angle, but one I remember.

bobby lashley's sisters

Austin-HHH from mid to late 2000 to early 2001 was tremendous they had many intense segments and some exciting matches.

Now, I know you’re tempted to throw up a picture of Kurt as a witty response, and let me say- yes, yes you’re very clever.

But my question is this. What is the best wrestling angle / program you’ve seen? For me it’s the Hart Foundation being heels only in the States and being faces everywhere else. I think that was a hell of a thing to pull off.

It's a shame all four did not go against the Four Horsemen as counterparts. I did see Souled Out 98 Bret Hart /vs Ric Flair and there were some fun (imaginable) possibile matches between the two groups

The Midnights vs Arn and Tully and then the Midnights vs Condrey and Rose with Heyman in 88 JCP/WCW. Cornette was able to quickly get the fans behind them despite being an evil no good son of a bitch on national TV the past 3+ years.

What were you listening to in the late 90s and early 2000s?
DURSTMANIA RUNNING WILDDDD

Loads of jungle dnb and house plus Cypress Hill, G Funk, East Coast, Eminem and some old metal when pretending to play the guitar. Not NU - I'd prefer Frank Sinatra to Durst.

Of all time? Would have to think about that, but off the top of my head, I was 14 at the time the Matt Hardy/Lita/Edge angle was going on. I was actually at the Monday Night RAW when Matt came back through the crowd and yelled "ROH" into the mic. That angle was fucking white hot at the time.

Thinking back to my younger years as a wrestling fan, loved the HHH/Foley feud. I genuinely hated HHH when i was a kid.

Larry Zbyszko turning on his mentor Bruno Sammartino. Classic.
