I gotta be honest, I know it's an EP but Opiate is my favorite. It's short, but hits hard from beginning to end. No long intros, no frills.. just straight metal/rock.

But picking off of that list it's going to be Aenima

I feel like I need some time to fairly evaluate Fear Inoculum’s ranking. On the one hand, I’ve listened to it at least daily since its release. On the other, the anticipation was so great (and expectations so fully met) that I’m still pretty giddy over it.

Edit: I’ve been listening to Pneuma individually at least twice daily. I fucking LOVE that song.

Salival. It's live one, but its good as studio one.

Aenima is the bee’s knees, but everything up to Lateralus was excellent, including the EPs. From Lateralus on, they became much more noodley and less song-oriented, which is not everyone’s cup of tea. Just my opinion.

I'm gonna go Undertow. It's dark and just hinting towards the more progish direction they were about to take.

But Opiate is the most raw and visceral. Hard to top that being what it is.
