If you haven't yet go ahead and vote in poll 2.0.

The baseball category is going to need to be tiered, because there are too many top baseball movies to be contained in 1 poll. Ultimately there will be a showdown to determine Mayberry's favorite baseball movie to be contained in the final poll and face off against the other sports films.

I've got a plan to figure out what Mayberry's favorite sports film of all time by doing a series of polls broken down by sport that will culminate in the final poll having the winner in each sports category face off for the favorite sports film of all time title.

The Top 10 poll will be the following sports.
1-Boxing- Rocky
2-Baseball
3-Non Boxing Combat Sports
4-American Football
5-Hockey
6-Motor sports
7-Golf
8-Basketball
9-Soccer
10-Misc Sport

No Mr.Baseball? I just can't take this list seriously.

But really, Moneyball for me, nobody plays baseball over here so it was good to see it from a different angle than about the game itself.

Baseball makes for great movies because it's the only sport where the movies can be more interesting than the games.

I voted Sandlot. Anyone who doesn't is killing me

Out of your list.
1. 8 men out. The cast does a fantastic job. Cusack fucking crushes it. Baseball scenes looked legit.
2. The Natural. Wonderboy. Great Story. Redford crushed it and looked legit doing baseball things.
3. Field of Dreams. Ray Liotta and DArth Vader. Costner doing Costner things.
4. Bull Durham. I want to give him the heat and announce my presence with authority! Another great cast. Costner doing Costner things. What drops this movie down the list is Robbins looked like shit pitching. Totally unbelievable.

61 was great.
The first time I saw for love of the game, I got goosebumps.

Costner it the king of baseball movies.

Only baseball movie I remember I've seen is Rookie of the Year.

There will be more baseball polls. I just need to create about 3 polls to narrow down the favorites. I'm sure your favs will be represented in subsequent polls. Just vote based on this list and wait a few days for subsequent baseball movie polls. This is a process. That's why this is 1.0.

There really are so many great baseball movies. Some missing as others have mentioned, 61, For Love Of The Game, Mr. Baseball, The Rookie(I always enjoyed it).

my vote went to Sandlot but I should've went with The Natural.

They will be included in Baseball Movies poll 2.0 or 3.0 or 4.0, but there can only be one Highlander so there will be a face off.

If it isn't Rookie Of The Year or The Sandlot Kids....you fail at life.

Hold on..... WHERE THE F*CK is Rookie Of The Year?

You should know better than to expect reading comprehension on Sherdog

Normally, I would have picked The Sandlot, but..

A League of Their Own was on the list..
