When you hook that arm behind the back with your foot there are so many differents subs you can get from that position. That looks like a modified crucifix and a modified Kimora combination.
looks to me like the jericho screwdriver super blizzard
It's a chicken wing that is very unlikely to catch. If you can thread the foot around the back and catch the arm like that, why not go straight to a triangle? He can't stop you.
Looks like something I would expect to see in Silat.
I have hooked the arm like that a couple times when rolling, and yes if you hook it you basically have a triangle, and it's very tight.
somemore this guy look like he know what he's doing. Not pulling something out at the spur of the moment.
Cool shit. Didn't Marcello Garcia tap Ben Askren with something similar in that video a few weeks ago.
Thanks for embeding the video Keynote.
Not bad for a bunch of guys who just play on their feet. :icon_chee
Why not just finish him with a triangle you ask? The Judoka was just playing his game just like you play yours. Slick moves none the less.
Im trying that on a white belt, lol
