What is there to see and do in England and the UK?

Is it tough to drive on the other side of the road? I am so used to the right side, will switching over make me more prone to accidents? I will have to rent a car. I like to joyride around and see scenic landscapes urban or rural.

What does Cornwall or Devon offer? By the way what do you call someone from Devon? The Cornwall folks are Cornish, so what are the Devon Folk. Also does northern England have Skyfall-esque scenery?

I want to check out a soccer game. When does the season end?

Is the food really that bad? If you want to go slumming (checking out the slums) which slums in which city to go?

There are some very nice mosques there. Great place to eat kebabs, donairs, and curry. If you're a "when in Rome, do as Romans do" type person, bring a prayer mat - or just buy one there. Lots of places to do so.

It's always blazing hot here. Make sure to pack trunks and flip flops. Definitely no need for a raincoat.

Lol at the replies. In the North you got Nottingham Forest from Robin hood lore.

In the South you got London. Boat ride down the Thames was good. Shops like Harrods and Hamleys toy shop are also good to visit.

Football 'soccer' season ends mid - May, so you don't have long left.

check out finnsbury park in londinastan, great place for visiting for a beer or 3.

too soon?

Dont be so keen to stay as long in London- 3/4 days is enough to experience the capital city.

Head up the country - Durham is fantastic for a couple of days. You could also visit one of our former Presidents family home - George Washington - in Washington just outside of Durham and Sunderland. From Durham head up on the same train to Edingburgh

Register for notification of ticket release on here . www.trainline.com Put in details of starting station ( london kings cross ) and destination and date , they will email/text you when the 12week cheap tickets go on sale , then book em asap.

Stop by the King of Arms pub in Southall for me.

In the south there are Bath, Oxford and Cambridge that are pretty nice. Also Stonehenge if you're fascinated by that kind of stuff

When you visit london

1. Shard (go up to the 30th or 40th floor...forgot now) and get a capuccino martini or whatever the fuck you drink
2. Borough Market
3. Camden Market
4. hit on some slags...jk
5. Harrods (already mentioned) and pay tribute to the Princess Diana memorial
6. Change of the guards 10 or 11 am everyday at Buckinham palace
7. The alchemist for some serious alcoholic chemistry concoctions

Lots of stuff to do there. Stonehenge is kind of stupid but visit Bath. It's a nice place. Maybe go to Surrey and catch a horse race.

Oxford has Christchurch where they filmed Harry Potter. Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross in London. Windsor Castle is pretty close to London too. You can catch the overground at it takes maybe an 1hr.

This is the WORST fucking advice I have ever read!

Stay clear from up north as it is a fucking shithole, Devon is nice (my mum lives there). Maybe try London, plenty of sight seeing to be done. Avoid going to an Arsenal game as the team is shit and the fans are all spastics who will probably dribble all over you. (except Frenzy and CW)

If you like lamb I HIGHLY recommend you visit Wales!

lol

Wales is great TS, go there if you want nothing to do

Avoid going to a Cardiff FC game though, their fans are shit and they don't follow their team so the stadium is always empty. Swansea > Cardiff

we live in caves, in the side of mountains, where the sheep roam free (until we get our hands on them that is)
