What is the Goat Console Controller?

I know a lot of you master racer's are going to want to reply with a keyboard and mouse, but I'm just referring to consoles.

For me it's a toss up between the GameCube, 360, and XB1, but I'm going to have to go with the 360. The D-pad sucks balls on it, but the overall all feel and heavy duty build makes it superior to the XB1 controller IMO.

 

I dont remember what any of the old controllers were like but right now I got a PS3 and an Xbone and the Xbone destroys the PS3 controller
Feels heavier and more solid and fits better in my giant hands
PS3 is prolly perfect for tiny Asian hands or some shit but not these big American meat paws

 

PS4 because it's the most refined version in a long line of GOAT controllers starting with SNES.

 

Voted PS4 but my top 3 all time are PS4, N64, and Wii U.

The PS4 Dualshock 4 is the perfect controller imo. Ideal size for a comfortable grip, smooth all around and the nicely done touchpad in the middle, as well as the built in mic.

The N64 controller was revolutionary at the time and I still have fond memories of getting blisters on my palms from frantic Mario Party mini game where your had to spin the joystick.

The Wii U gamepad's inclusion of the touchscreen worked really well when implemented right. It's a shame it will most likely be lost to the times since the Wii U was an overall failure, even if it was a good console.

 

360 controller is the best. Why micro penis had to change for the 0ne I don't know.

 

It really depends on the type of game you're playing. The Saturn controller is the goat for fighting games while the 360 controller is the goat for FPSs.
I'd say the most well rounded though is the Dual Shock line.

 

I really like the Xbone controller.

 

The dreamcast controller was so cool to me at the time.

 

Dreamcast....just because of the screen in middle.

Also it was the exact same layout as xbox control...xbox pretty much copied it, from a,b,x,y buttons to the placings.


Thats why I always liked xbox control since its dreamcast successor.

 

Dual Shock. The Genesis 6 Button controller is also great.

 

Snes. It's legendary.

 

I put N64 just cause I can. N64 shouldn't even be on the list. Literally worst controller of all time.

Ever since the S-type controller for the 360 came out, it's been top dog. The XBONE is basically the same thing. Love everything about it. Fits perfectly in your hands. The analog stick are perfectly laid out. Triggers and shoulder buttons feel great, and are distinct from one another. Only thing I don't understand, is how the d-pad still sucks. How hard is it to make a good d-pad?

 

No way. It looked like a pile of shit, but it worked really well, and the innovations it made are still being used today.

Worst controller? Gamecube, by fuckin' FAR. Now that was a genuine piece of shit.

 

Dual Shock has been the most consistent controller and the DS4 is by far the best in that line.

japanese saturn pad is damn comfy, with the snes coming in second.

ps4 for current consoles though, the xbox controllers have shit dpads no matter the revision.

 

You might be right I never really used the gamecube controller but I could tell it was bad so it might be even worse.

 

Voted PS4 but honestly the 360 controller is just as solid.

 

The Xbox one elite controller is goat. That thing is nice bro.
