What is the current Interim LW Belt's status?

We know the interim belts are usually fake belts but sometimes its useful for UFC when:
A champ gets injured or suspended, or UFC even uses it to gain leverage against the current champ as he did in Ngannou and Gane.

But what will happen when champ gets stripped due to misweight?

Lets say UFC told Oliveira to fight Islam in Abu Dhabi.

But Oliveira refuse to fight and ask for Conor payday in Brazil.

Can UFC make a fight for the interim LW belt between Islam and Dariush or another LW?

Or will it be the real LW belt since there is no champion currently?

I really don't get why 'the champ has a name and it is Charles Oliveira' thing is so catchy but it is growing on me. Oddly enough, the more Charles repeats it and then his translator says it the catchier it gets. Like the "By Mennen" thing in Seinfeild, only applied to a fighter.

There won't be an interim title if the real title is vacant, so this thread is moot. Also, there's zero chance Conor would fight someone like Oliveira without the title being on the line.

Charles spoke for a long time, I think the translator repeated that phrase many more times than Oliveira actually said it. With that said, I love it! Chucky should repeat it at every opportunity until he loses in the cage again.
