I want to make something clear for all MMA fans. For everyone who sees a bloody fight and insists that whatever fight they saw was the worst. For the people who think Penn/Stevenson was the bloodiest war in UFC history. On Monday October 3, 2005 at UFC Fight Night 2, Jonathan "The Road Warrior" Goulet went to war w/ Jay "The Thoroughbred" Hieron and what ensued was the biggest bloodbath the UFC has ever seen since.

If you have a differing opinion please state your case. A poll will be added to settle this once more cases have been heard.

    Options for Other:
    • Keith Wisniewski v Josh Neer
    • Diego Sanchez v BJ Penn
    • Edwin Dwees v Gideon Ray
    • Jared Rollins v Jon Koppenhaver
    • Kenny Florian v Clay Guida
    • Diego Sanchez v Martin Kampmann
    • Dan Severn v Oleg Taktarov
    • Jon Madsen v Abe Wagner

*I will not include TUF fights in the poll.

Cain vs. Bigfoot should be a nomination.

I think Joe Stevenson vs. BJ Penn is #1.

I dunno if TUF counts, but Madsen/Wagner was one of the bloodiest fights I had ever seen.

Joe Daddy against Penn seems like the obvious, but Cain-Bigfoot does deserve some recognition.

Came to say this, their was an Edwin Dewees fight on TUF that was probably the bloodiest I've ever seen, only watched live though so it might not be as bad as I remembered but I seem to recall his head leaking like a faucet all over his opponent's face.

Also GSP vs Condit as an honorable mention.

Edwin Deweez/Gideon Ray was a nasty one. It looked like someone turned on a faucet.

If Cain vs Bigfoot was as long a fight as the other nominees, it wouldn't even be close. If it went the full 15 minutes there would have been a truly unimaginable amount of blood on the floor.
