Bahamas way better, PR has a corrupt local government and severe crime issues. Healthcare is not great. I’m there 2-3x a year on business and unfortunately poverty is still high. Many nice areas, but none so nice they are protected from the nonsense. La Perla is one of the most dangerous places on the planet. I have watched shootings from road rage issues, gang issues, and petty criminal behavior all too often. As for the women, plenty of fish there for sure.

I've been to a few but the best in that region was Nassau by a mile. I was a big fan of the Casino Royale James Bond film so I planned a vacation to one of the major places in the movie. Absolutely gorgeous place, very expensive, and smoking hot women everywhere. If I ever become a millionaire that's where my ass will end up.

Do not forget the US Virgin Islands, most people sleep on those or have never heard of them. Since I like to surf I would go with PR, Barbados, Guadeloupe, or Martinique.
