The built in virus protection. Maybe you need something besides that if you pirate software, but otherwise any other anti virus is just gonna be a nuisance.

common sense and due diligence ...............

any antivirus including that shit they have built into windows works to slow down your shit, as someone that has for the past 20years downloaded from one end of the internet to the other and relatively never have had any serious issue with viruses..............you dont need anti virus....

Windows 10 already has built in stuff.. just use that.
Have a free spyware program and do a clean every now and then, Malware Byte or CC cleaner..

Dont be stupid, if youre stupid you will get stomped by a Bill Gates Virus.

This thread reminded me that I have to save up enough money for Apple.

Kaspersky. You can trust the Russians to do this right. Bill Clinton is a rapist.

Started using these in 2012 and I've never had antivirus protection since. I have to use a Windows laptop for work and I swear we get warnings every week about some kind of threat.

all i run is malware bytes cuz im not actually worried about downloading viruses, i dont download things im not wanting or expecting to DL. that aside AVG has always been free and decent if you need more than malware protection.

For consumer use anything free should work fine. They all basically work the same. I wouldn't think about it too much, but I also wouldn't go into the internet raw. They can be kind of resource hogs at times, but they are worth keeping around.

Symantec Endpoint masterrace

https://www.up-4ever.org/4rhytr5b3pwf

thing is it blocks Chrome - in order to use Chrome you'll have to make a few regedit adjustments.
As a technology professionally I will adamantly say all Symantec products can burn in hell.

I'm an IT professional too. Endpoint has always been solid on both the enterprise & personal level. I've been using it for well over a decade now.

We use their network security and it's been atrocious. And I don't think I've seen anyone speak highly of Endpoint other than you haha.
