So he fought Dominic Cruz for a second time and lost (some say it was controversial, some don't) and then went on to lose to Barao- also losing the opportunity at getting a rematch with Cruz. Where does this put him in the division and who does he fight next?

He's still top 5.

He's having a rematch with Menjivar on the Cali card.

Providing he wins, I'd like a rematch with Wineland or Asuncao.

championship fight at faberweight....the ufc need faber as a champion

I was thinking the same thing -- Wineland has seemingly improved leaps and bounds. I didn't see much of a future for him other than being a gatekeeper after his lacking performance against Benevidez, but he has looked fantastic in his last couple bouts.

Id like to see Urijah stay at the middle of the division for a while. Rack up a few nice wins and then see what happens.

Mc Donalds is always looking for 15 year olds to flip burgers.

He could be on a 12 fight losing streak, get a win over some guy that has been training for 9 minutes with a very close split decision, and still get the title shot.

So basically, if he wins his next fight, it will likely be followed with a title shot.

A real fun fight with Menjivar.
Time for Ivan to get the win he was on his way to before.
Hopefully maybe.

id like to see him fight menjivar, and soon would be nice, within the next 3 or so ppvs.

I don't understand why people bitch about him getting title shots. The guy absolutely destroys middle of the pack fighters when he's given them. Remember what he did to Mizugaki and BB?

It's unfortunate, I thought he won the fight again Dom, but losing the Barao fight really set him back. People are saying a rematch with Eddie, but I don't see the point. There's enough fighters at that weight class that we can have a variety of match ups. Menjivar will be a good fight, and afterwards I hope he gets someone like Scotty Jorgenson.
