I imagine he is pissed about how today went, not only did he miss out on Khabib/Conor they gave Diaz to Poirer (although Diaz threw a bitch fit today and said he isn't fighting now).

Seems he has been forgotten. If Diaz falls through versus Poirer, I say book Ferguson against Poirer as its the only reasonable fight aside from a Kevin Lee rematch.

    What do you guys think

He should stay ready to be a replacement for the Conor vs Khabib fight

He'll come back, win his next fight and get a tittle shot.

Damn didn't know that, i thought the timetable for his return was around the end of this year. Guess he can fight the winner then. If Conor wins theyll probably finish the Diaz trilogy though.

The division is great but it's in a bit of a mess. Tony is the champion but he's 5th/6th in line right now.

He's injured anyways. By the time he's ready to fight several of these guys will be freed up again and the UFC will give him one. He probably gets Khabib if Khabib wins, or Dustin if Conor wins

Kevin Lee and Porier are ahead of El Cucky right now. He’d be a fine replacement of Conor, Khabib, Nate or Porier drop out or a Lee rematch. He’s in the mix for sure but there’s so much talent LW it doesn’t take long to get passed whether it’s the fighters fault or not. I’d be pumped for Tony vs anyone listed above.

OK, assuming he doesn't just sit down and wait (which he should be entitled to do, but probably isn't a good idea right now).
The best option imo is the Gaethje / Vick winner. He could also welcome Holloway or Aldo to the division... either one of these fights would be a banger.
After that the options are a little bit less attractive. He could fight Iaquinta, that would be fun, right? Or test one of the fast-surging contenders like Alex Hernandez and Dan Hooker. I know, it's a bit soon for them to get this fight.
Then there's the Alvarez fight. Sure, why not, although I'd personally love to see Alvarez vs Lee right now.

He should stay ready for when Khalabib pulls out. They should put him on the same card VS Pettis

Lee hasn't fought at 155 since he lost to Ferguson. I could see Poirer leaping him if he beats Diaz tho.

How is Kevin ahead of Tony at this current moment? Kevin is on a 1 fight win streak. Tony is on a 10 fight win streak and elbowed Kevin in the dome and choked him unconscious in his last fight.

He did, not sure by how much though. He is another fighter that dangerously cuts way too much weight.
