Well, the smaller KBers has been taking knees, and kicks for a long time. I figure those are going to be harder than a bigger boxers punch as long as the boxer is not that much bigger. Unless Tenshin always had weak chin, and just never exposed.

Now I did not expect Tenshin to win, but I did not expect him get knocked out like he did. I think now Tenshin KB opponents will head hunt with kicks more now.

I think people arent used to seeing pure boxing between a 30+ lbs weight differential and it just looked weird, also its in Asia and people are skeptical of that

I think they just used Mayweather to promote Rizin's and Tenshin's brand. Not sure if it was a smart move but I didn't know Tenshin before this and I do now so that's something

How is Karelin shape in these days? Tenshin vs Karelin pure grappling would be an hit.

It comes down to timing, placement, and accuracy.

This makes the most sense but on the other hand... (devil's advocate) Japan has a history of showcasing young stars in this manner and they don't ever hold a loss against a fighter like westerners do. Who knows how long they intend to keep the org going so could be a one-off cash grab or They could be legitimately trying to bring more eye balls to their show

(I don't really believe any of this)

The Tenshin hype was totally insufferable. This should improve things.

Give him Lomachenko after all he's as close as it can get to Loma.

But I doubt he'll fight ever again under boxing rules, he's aiming for MMA, maybe box Conor, though?

If only 3 holes Tenshin has a chance.

Conor is way bigger than Floyd and Floyd is massive compared to Tenshin. We have weight classes for a reason.

For brand building purposes Tenshin needs a couple fluff opponents he can run through before setting up the rematch with Rodtang.

How about we never talk about Tenshin and boxing again unless he has a boxing coach and takes a half decent looking amateur fight first.

The only opponents he can fight in kickboxing are either thais or Takeru but even then, the Takeru fight won't probably happen and the thai guys will just be muay thai fighters fighting in kickboxing. There is no real kickboxing division at his weight class.

Honestly they should build him up in boxing and make him fight Inoue.

His TKO loss was the worst thing that could happen to him and rizin...

of course Mayweather looked so much more big than him but it still, also is the best of his era against an guy without any pro boxing experience, finished under 3 rounds at a exhibition.

interesting to see what is next for him, but the whole thing was a fiasco for Tenshin-Rizin and a easy payday for Mayweather

Of course it would have been better if it went the distance but Tenshin this isn't necessarily so bad for him. A lot of people are of course talking shit on youtube calling Tenshin a bum but these all are probably some ignorant people. Those people wouldn't have started watching Rizin in the first place, unless Tenshin did really well against Mayweather which was unlikely. The people at Rizin knew this, of course. A lot of people also think this fight was fixed, which of course it wasn't. All in all, he has gotten a LOT of attention which i think will pay off in the future.

I think Tenshin looked good and had some good moments in there to be honest although he got humiliated. Mayweather is just far superior and bigger so knocked him down easily. If you compare this fight to Floyd vs McGregor, one might think McGregor did that much better. McGregor of course is like 40 lbs bigger than tenshin but Floyd walked through him and held back in the first rounds. Even then after he lost McGregor went on and made a lot of money against Khabib.

Now everybody knows about Rizin and Tenshin. Maybe a lot of people will think it's a joke now, but they also gained a lot of new fans. They can definitely profit on this although the result wasn't the optimal.
