Seems like it happens a lot less in boxing lately never see Wilder and Fury tryna throw down in public or Spence and Crawford. In mma you had Jones& DC, Conor & Nate/Khabib, Masvidal Edwards/Usman/asscream, Usman & Asscream/Colby/ Masvidal/ , Khabib & Conor/Nate/Artem Seems like there is always some type of new random beef in the ufc with fighters hating their opponents and wanting to throw down on the spot. What makes ufc beefs that much serious.

Because they're about to bash each other's brains in inside a cage?

It's a physical fight with very few rules compared to boxing

Would you get more worked up pillow fighting someone or having a street fight with them?

I think fighters tend to feel a strange sexual attraction to their opponent which causes them confusion. That confusion and uncertainty makes them angry so they take it out on each other.

I understand that, but you dont have to dislike someone to hurt them

It’s the fans who are to blame.

MMA fighters D - Level brains are more easily triggered and quick to posturing and senseless violence when compared to the cool, calm and collected A - Level brains involved in boxing atm.

There are plenty of fighters that respect each other as well.

There will always be beefs when it comes to competitive sports. Especially in cage fighting when it's one man vs another.

Some of it also comes from the fact that they are trying to promote themselves. Not all "beefs" are genuine where both guys really hate each other's guts. Some of it is for entertainment value.

Yea definitely is just crazy how in recent time you had Conor attacking a bus, you had Khabib attacking Corner, 3 piece & a soda, Ali attacking Colby at a random cafeteria, i'm not complaining its entertainment but just LOL

Try to get into a fight with someone you are neutral with and someone you dislike. Which feels better? Which feels better on the conscious? Its biology, we are animals, we are aggressive to aggressiveness.

It happens in all sports boxing just soft af these days very little going on also. NBA, NHL even MLB everyone hates teams in the same division and it helps sell rivalries real or not.

Pro Wrestling and MMA have been intertwined since the 90's. Only insecure MMA fans, have a problem with the theatrics. That is what it is, theatrics to sell the fight, it works if you have a compelling character.
Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Boxing has an established fan base it doesn't need the theatrics THAT badly, MMA is on the come up.

Either way i would handle it the same way , i would take more pleasure hurting the guy i dislike of course, but it wouldnt effect the way i fight. Most fighters tend to dislike each other on a competitive stand point, but its just hilarious how mma specifically UFC takes it to the extreme. No wonder boxing is dying it cant compete with Danas storylines
