Discipline. Depending on the dojo you go to sometimes you wonder if they are aver going to actually teach you karate at all. As I kid I hated it because I spent about 3 months just doing the horse stance, then breathing, then blocking and so on.

il try to find the link. my local Karate gym didnt allow head strikes. maybe i am just poorly informed about karate in general
