A powerlifter can´t fight "More functional" then a same level bodybuilder. It´s INDIVIDUAL.

Posting on sherdog while doing powerlifting does NOT make you a fighter

    I will play ball.

    Moving stuff hey?

What about removal men (and women) who work for removal companies? Would that be a suitable example of moving stuff?

Sure. There was a guy who used to be a mod on here who was a mover. He had one of the fastest gains in powerlifting we've ever seen, partly due to his moving base. I'm sure he would definiately say his time in the gym powerlifting gave him "functional strength" for his job.

I have witnessed the opposite. The gym guy whose 1RPM would be double of an untrained non-gym guy, yet, who both have the same job: a removal man.

Guess who fatigues first doing their job of lifting "stuff"?

The gym guy. How could that be?

Let's see if you have the intellectual capacity to explain the obvious.

I thought we we're talking about strength.

HINT: One guys conditioning has no correlation to the other guys strength level.

    Strength what?

    Power?

    Endurance?

    Peak?

    Care to elaborate?

Yes, the thread was about strength, not endurance. You're confused by this?
