    Balance.

Despite constant, somewhat erratic movement and combination punching off his back foot, he never stumbled or slipped. Not enough guys in MMA can move like that.

I'd love to see him face McDonald.

Were? Are. Unless he died or had them removed. But i agree, nice tattoos.

I have to say i love watching the guy fight. I think he is pretty underrated. He has great hands, and i think Rogan is overly critical of his defensive striking. Sure he doesn't necessarily do it by the book, but i also dont remember seeing him get hit a lot either and guys like Young Guns and Pickett are really slick on the feet.

not that impressed. he's fast but he couldn't put his chin out there more if he tried. He's lucky Pickett lacks power

Huh? He relies on footwork and head movement. Pickett lacks power? Brad "One Punch" Pickett?

Wineland is one of the best counter boxers in all of mma. Criminally underrated.

Just cause something isn't textbook doesn't mean it's wrong or ineffective. He relies on movement, which I think is smart for MMA.

I didn't like how low he kept his hands, could cause him problems in the future. Great first round though. Love the McDonald fight, that should definitely be next for eddie.

He has improved a lot since his WEC days and is a tough well rounded fighter. But he will get KOed much like JDS pretty much did b/c he keeps his hands at his waist for some reason. His movement is so perfect as to not take any power shots...he is very hitable and when the right punch lands he'll go to sleep like everyone else or at least get hurt enough to curl up and be submitted.

I'd like to see him fight Easton, Rivera, MacDonald, or Faber again.

wineland has a very interesting mix of technical striking with very unorthodox rhythm and head movement, not unlike that of BW champ dominick cruz. two very unique styles. i'd love to see them fight one day regardless of whether a title is on the line

He'll always fall at the final hurdle with his hands down that low.

His offense was great, but I can't help thinking that he got hit more than he should have.

Maybe that's more a credit to Brad than a knock against Eddie.

He really impressed me in this fight. His movement was great and his punching precision was precise. Although he was slowing down towards the end.
