I'd be more worried about the nuclear reactors, but I think I'd be alright. Headin to the hills!
 
I live in Canada so wouldn't be no thang. Although the realist in me says I'd probably end up getting gang raped by a very large posse of well armed rednecks as they liberate my electricity.
 
I probably have better odds of winning the lottery twice over than this ever happening.
 
and if electricity goes down, there goes your water. Best stock up on some bottles or live near a clean lake.

Anyway, if you have a family, you need to have taken precautions for back up.

I'd hunker down in a apartment building with my Daughter, my Sister, my cancer stricken father and I'd make sure to have a truck of Italian food outside. I'd be weary of visitors but eventually would bring them into my family and fuck them when out on the highway.

I'm not saying the power will never go out in large areas, but your scenario is pretty extreme and doubtfully will ever get close to that. You're making it sound like the power will be off for months everywhere and everyone will just start going wild and killing each other. Nice fantasy, but no.
 
If that sort of thing happen in my country just the degree of overpopulation will contribute to the chaos.

I don't have weapons like guns,knives and I dont know jack shit about fighting I think it will like a free for all people will be literally killing for resources.

I might just join the looting first to get supplies and head to some fresh water source.

But I would assume millions of people will already be huddling the lakes.
