What if Sugar Ray Leonard never had eye problems?

How much more would Leonard have accomplished if he hadn't had to retire in 1982 because of eye problems?

I've always wondered this. I often think the eye was an excuse to avoid prime hagler and rematch hearns. He could have lost either or both.
