What if Ronda Rousey reacted to her loss the way McGregor did to Diaz?

I understand that she has done a few appearances that I can count on one hand, I'm talking about disappeared from the MMA scene. She didn't even go to the post conference. At least Conor and Miesha had the balls to show up.

Why are you surprised? She said before the Holly fight she was going to take a long time off. She obviously had plans regardless of the outcome to step away from mma for a while. Also, I didn't expect her to show up for the press conference. She got her brain scrambled and also had to have emergency surgery for the inside of her lip.

Conor and Miesha both tapped out like a couple of bitches. Ronda went out swinging.

I'll be honest, I was a fan of Ronda Rousey up until the way she acted on the weigh-in stage to Holly Holm. It was bizarre and she sounded like a complete fool.

What if Ronda Rousey accepted the loss and congratulated Holm either at the post-fight press conference or in the octagon after the fight? I for one would have respected that and that whole weigh-in fiasco would have been put to bed.

She didn't and proceeded to hide for months. I for one would like to see Ronda back, but if fighting in CO-MAIN or MAIN EVENT in NYC @ Madison Sq. Garden doesn't get her motivated to come back, then I don't think anything will.

p.s. She doesn't need my respect nor do I give a shit, but I'm just wondering how you guys would view her?

Ronda aint co main eventing shit, that is a bonafide all or nothing ride or die,DNB slaying Rowdy competitor of the highest order.

Both, Rousey and McGregor were and still are delusional in defeat. They both reacted poorly.

Rousey had a mental breakdown and revealed to the world she's a mental midget (there were signs though prior to the Holly fight)

McGregor still thinks fat/partying/10-days notice Diaz's win was a fluke and can't recognized he got clowned in the clinch, on the ground, and standing in the 2nd round (Diaz's a slow starter)

They both suck at being respectable human beings

Better than making excuses like Holly and Miesha did for their losses.

you think ko < sub? however you want to see it homie. have a good day.

Lmao @ the dumbfucks defending Ronda and specially the ones acting like she took the loss better than Fedor did to Doom. You idiots realize Fedor wanted rematches for all his losses and specially the Doom loss and the reason he was out for 8 months was trying to get a rematch done but SF was hardballing to guarantee he'd sign with them again by having him fight other guys until it was time to renegotiate. Fedor wanted to fight Doom immediately but they had to keep him hostage by making him take other fights.

I'm a huge Conor hater but he took the loss much better than Ronda and is going in there again, at a higher weight class, against the man who just beat him with his confidence intact. Excuses are necessary if you wanna stay at the top after defeat. What is he supposed to say? "Nate is a better fighter. I'm gonna get my ass beat again." Lmao some of you fucks have never competed in anything. Of course he has to believe he can win! That's why Ronda hasn't comeback. She actually believes Holly owns her. "I can't overcome adversity! There's nothing I can ever do to beat Holly!" Is what she's pretty much saying.

did aldo congratulate conor and wish him well? did weidman congratulate luke and wish him well? did luke do that to bisping? she disappeared but gave interviews, disappeared but was on snl, ellen, espn. in january she told espn fighting holly was all she wanted to do. in december she said "I need to come back. I need to beat this chick." but whatever. you'll tailor your standards based on how you feel about her.
Not a shred of evidence of a comeback so far. A few rumours of her training again, but nothing concrete at all. And it took her ages to surface after her loss. None of the others you mentioned became so invisible after their defeats. For all the hype of her being mentally strong she clearly is rather fragile.

Fedor didn't book his next fight 6 months after his loss to werdum and didn't talk much either.

It didn't take her ages. She had an extensive ESPN article and interview in December. Snl in January. Ellen in February.

No argument about her being mentally fragile overall. Of course we don't know how she'll actually respond in the cage.

Lol really? She even admitted she thought about suicide and had meltdowns on TV.

She almost couldn't have handled it worse. She still hasn't even scheduled another bout yet.

Suicidal thoughts aren't rare. A lot of people have them. There's nothing wrong with it, or right with it. Doesn't make you a better or worse person if you're a person who does or doesn't have suicidal thoughts. It just is what it is. There's also nothing wrong with talking about it.

Well if your not then you might want to learn the origin and meaning of some of the terms you use because thats exactly what they are and dont try and claim naivety as ignorance is no excuse for spreading bigotry.

Valid... but his point about Conor spreading a ton of racist bullshit whenever he gets the chance is pretty valid, too.

You mean if she came out and spewed bullshit all over the place? "I was killing Holly, dribbling her head like a basketball. The first round was the easiest round of my life. She had nothing for me. I was killing her. She was dead. One more punch and she dies." ....? I imagine she'd be ate alive.

yep its true.

You know im very much triggered by common sense in here. Its like a needle in a haystack in this place. stop it.

Fedor didn't act like an entitled spoiled brat before hand either. And I'm guessing TMZ dont have an office in Stary Oskol. When Fedor isn't fighting or turning up to do promo, you hear almost nothing from him. Ronda had plenty of opportunities to show humility. Even in the interviews she did when she surfaced she was completely in denial and sounded at times delusional. When you act so arrogant like McGregor did too, the fall is great. Everybody wants to kick you when you're down. That's when you really have to face the truth. And so far there is no sign of this from Ronda.

Was it really confirmed broken/fractured? I thought people were just saying that... obviously it was really sore.
Of course it's not confirmed, but she suffered the worst injury of 193 with a cracked jaw that had to be wired shut.

Considering JJ made it to the conference, looking like this

and val looked like this

They were both in the same hospital, but Ronda was had to goto a specialist
