UFC would suffer a lot and Bellator will get more credibility.

I would laugh tbh

wouldn't be surprised

Why would he?

Max is a fighter that cares about legacy, he wants to be the best of all time, and therefore beat the best.
No way he is going to Bellator. Dude defends his title like every 4 months.

Listen to his interviews, the dude wants to fight the very best, frequently.

Max would be 145&155 lb champ within a year in Bellator.

The UFC would lose a great fighter who doesn't draw well, so I'm so sure Dana and Ari would be temporarily annoyed, but would eventually get over it.

I don't see any names that I would pick over Holloway. Doubt he'll go to Bellator (not anytime soon at least) if he does, he'll dominate.

For sure. Consider this.

The record for most consecutive wins in UFC history is Anderson Silva with 16 wins in a row.
The record for most wins in a UFC career is 20, held by GSP and Bisping who are tied.
Max is currently at 12 consecutive, and career UFC wins is at 15......he's 26 years old. Max Holloway could CRUSH many of the UFC records at the rate he is going.

This. UFC doesn't give a fuck about belt legitimacy. They care about draws and numbers. Max doesn't move the needle as far as I know. Dana and Co would be more annoyed with the bad PR that came with Max's departure than actually losing him as a champion, imo.

Any ufc champ moving to bellator would result in the ufc suffering and losing credibility. Whats your point?

He would make way less money. Being a UFC Champion Max be getting PPV coin. That can end up being in the millions. Plus if he champaigns and eventually gets a rematch with Connor, he make more than if he spent the rest of his career at Bellator.

Ben Henderson said after he signed with Bellator that he could have stayed with the UFC, made more money if he won a couple and became Champion again. Bellator he got a deal getting paid the same win or lose. At the tome guess he knew he was on the decline, he's making good money and doing shit for the promotion. Max is still on the rise. He'll do much better with the UFC and become a bigger star with more visibility.

I'd be pissed as tinpot bellator isn't shown live in the UK, already lost Rory and Moose

lol..I know Max isn't going to Bellator. I was just stating he would dominate 2 divisions in no time if he did.

What if Ronda Rousey became a movie star?

What if Conor McGregor ran for prime minister of Ireland?

What if Shayna Baszler went to WWE?

Wait, that last one actually happened.

Max is more charismatic and entertaining thst anyone else at fw. I get that he doesn’t pull big numbers, but the next best would be that much worse.

I don't know if he can dominate but I think there is a good chance if he stays healthy he moves to 155 in the UFC and wins a belt at some point. He has the frame to go to 155 easily.
