UFC would suffer a lot and Bellator will get more credibility.
Why would he?
Max is a fighter that cares about legacy, he wants to be the best of all time, and therefore beat the best.
No way he is going to Bellator. Dude defends his title like every 4 months.
Listen to his interviews, the dude wants to fight the very best, frequently.
The UFC would lose a great fighter who doesn't draw well, so I'm so sure Dana and Ari would be temporarily annoyed, but would eventually get over it.
That's fucked up Max is a great fighter.I would laugh tbh
wouldn't be surprised
Max would be 145&155 lb champ within a year in Bellator.
He would make way less money. Being a UFC Champion Max be getting PPV coin. That can end up being in the millions. Plus if he champaigns and eventually gets a rematch with Connor, he make more than if he spent the rest of his career at Bellator.
Ben Henderson said after he signed with Bellator that he could have stayed with the UFC, made more money if he won a couple and became Champion again. Bellator he got a deal getting paid the same win or lose. At the tome guess he knew he was on the decline, he's making good money and doing shit for the promotion. Max is still on the rise. He'll do much better with the UFC and become a bigger star with more visibility.
Max is more charismatic and entertaining thst anyone else at fw. I get that he doesn’t pull big numbers, but the next best would be that much worse.This. UFC doesn't give a fuck about belt legitimacy. They care about draws and numbers. Max doesn't move the needle as far as I know. Dana and Co would be more annoyed with the bad PR that came with Max's departure than actually losing him as a champion, imo.
lol..I know Max isn't going to Bellator. I was just stating he would dominate 2 divisions in no time if he did.
