What if Jones loses? obviously DC will be defending belt against OSP, and will Jones sitll fight Rumble? N1 Contender fight? OSP winning will mess up many things in the division

It depends how he loses. As Dana says "we have to see the fight".

Maybe DC/OSP and Jones/Rumble or Jones/Gus. Maybe Jones/OSP 2 if there's controversy or uncertainty. Maybe they still do Jones/DC 2 but I doubt it.

Then the division gets somewhat interesting again.

Then OSP wins. The new Suredawg crashes for a bit. Everyone talks smack about Jones. Then droves of 'I told you so' guys chime in. DC fights OSP.

Jones beats up on Bader afterward.

This seems perfectly reasonable

damn, poor Bader. Let the man live

Lose to OSP? That is impossible.

He'd probably move to heavyweight

In the remote event he lost DC/OSP and Jones/Rumble are perfectly reasonable.

Then OSP is the interim champ and life goes on. Jones fights someone else to work his way back to DC.

Sherdog implodes.

I'm not sure what happens if Jones loses. I mean obviously OSP gets the title shot against Cormier but where would Jones go from there? Not sure. That would be a devastating loss

I will be genuinely upset. Jones and Condit, two fighters I never want to see on someones knock-out highlight reel.

Why would it be messed up?

OSP winning would definately make the division more interesting and thrown things around a bit. OSP is an interesting fighter in his own right, with unique style and lots of power.

I think OSP is a good fighter and fun to watch, and I wish him the best, but if he somehow pulls off this upset, I see him getting a ton of fame and publicity, followed by a quick fall from grace.

Agree. He definately have talent and can be dangerous for anyone, still he lacks skills to stay long in the top.
