that the two most popular divisions in the ufc are the 145 men's and a women's 135 division?
They are the most hyped by Dana and the UFC...
Good point....as long as you stick to the term popular.
They are certainly not the best divisions depth wise and talent wise, but ya, recent UFC character pushes have really propelled them to the fore.
Conor & Rousey aren't the whole divisions...
Well considering there weren't women in UFC until 2012, I'd say you're totally full of crap.
Or you're a wizard.
Times are a changing.
I would have laughed and then laughed some more.
They are the most popular
But lightweight and middleweight are way more stacked and exciting
Mens bantamweight too
Featherweight has a pretty decent top 4 and possibly top 5. Better than any other division apart from Lightweight and maybe Middleweight imo.
Ya, I shouldnt have lumped featherweight in with wmma.
TS is a wizard
The GOAT needs to get his shit together and get back to 205. 205 should always rule the UFC Dammit!
My reaction 5 years ago.
It really is kind of amazing.
Just goes to show ya, star power and the 'it' factor, is not based on size... or even having one at all.
The 135 women's division, outside of Rousey and perhaps Tate, is not popular by any means.
There's a Holly Holm thread now and then. RR vs. Cyborg threads count too, I guess.
They're not the most popular divisions at all except when Ronda or Conor are fighting.
To prove a point, the UFC just created a main event out of Mir vs Duffee.
Do you think they would do that with an equivalent level of 145 fighter?
Separate names with a comma.
