Assuming he had no ties or legal obligations with the UFC and he said fuck it, I'm creating my own promotion. What will happen to the UFC? Will he be successful? Overtime would it surpass the UFC?

I wonder if his clause has an expiration period, sakakuraba's was 10 years then he created Rizin. Dana with all his knowladge and connections he will kil the UFC no doubt.

If he were to promote on his own it would probably have to be in boxing, he got a pretty good reception from the fans during the May/Mac world tour, he's a better fit for the boxing model anyways.

I'm sure he has a very restrictive non-compete clause in his contract, I think when he leaves the UFC he will likely retire for good. He's certainly made enough to never have to work again.
