What if Condit didnt 'run' against Diaz?

If he didnt run against Diaz then he would be much more respected right now, even he he had lost the fight

And it would be a war, of course. Everyone would love to see they bring it. Id favor Diaz but anything could happen

Would of been the best fight ever, Diaz could easily of got dropped, but would of wore Condit down and TKO'd him in the 4th.

Man I wish that happened...

Condit did not run, he simply won his fight against Diaz.

What if Nick was a better fighter and adapted to Condit's game-plan? Can we explore this what-if too? Is that too much to expect the Diaz brothers to do or should all their opponents just stand in front of them and allow themselves to be jabbity-jabbed-jabbed to a decision loss?

It seems reasonable to expect a UFC level fighter to be well rounded and smart enough to adapt to a similar level of fighter. Even the mighty Kimbo, who was a far bigger draw than Diaz will ever be was cut because he wasn't a UFC quality fighter.

Nick Diaz fans need hypothetical situations and fairy-tale scenarios to make them feel better about his inadequacy as a complete MMA fighter. What if we lived in an alternate universe where human beings could only walk foward and could not run? What would Nick Diaz's MMA career look like then? Y'all are embarrassing yourselves. He fought Diaz the same way he fought everyone in the UFC. He was a bit more cautious and he was focused on exploiting Diaz's openings but it wasn't that different at all. When he KO'd DHK and Hardy it wasn't from being "uber-aggressive", it was a well timed and accurate strike.

So he ran from Hardy and DHK aswell? he was really aggressive against them like he was against Rory Mac, like he was back in the WEC days. Of course he used footwork and accurate strikes but how can you think he was just as aggressive against Diaz?

When did Hardy or DHK pressure him against the cage and since when do they excel in that area? Condit prevented Nick from doing what he does best. That about sums up the entire fight. Diaz fans should be mad Nick didn't have a backup plan, but that would be admitting fault, and nuthuggers can't do that.
 
Why would you wonder about the guy who won?

What if Diaz was better? It would have been a NC and he would have still be suspended for a year.

Stated 3 times now NOT A NICK DIAZ FAN. The fight was billed as a 'dog fight'. If it went that way (ala toe to toe) who would of won? I think Diaz BUT if anyone could it would be Condit. Thats why people were looking forward to this fight.

He didnt let them as he came forward- therefore putting them on the back foot.

No, he didn't run from them or Diaz. The reason it didn't look like "running" is because Dan Hardy knows how to throw and check kicks and DHK has takedowns. Diaz had no defense for kicks, no kicks of his own other than his amusing high kicks, no takedowns, and tried to stand flat footed and box a kickboxer.

He was mostly moving backwards against Rory while out striking him. He used a lot of the same kicks against Rory he used on Diaz
