..had fought as a Welterweight in the UFC and not in K-1 MAX? Would he have had success overall? Buakaw is a legend among the kickboxing world, with an incredulous record of 227 wins and 23 losses, he is a two time K-1 MAX world champion and has won numerous other titles as well. If he had trained in the arts of Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling, along with his elite kickboxing....if he had the right coaches, what do you think he would have ended up career-wise?


 
even though he's a great fighter and i love watching him - i don't think so. even with good jiujitsu and wrestling coaches. a striker will always stay a striker.
 
He's not even a natural welterweight, so he'd likely have no success at all in that division.
 
There's no way of knowing, but at worst he would be average.
To be fair, Buakaw has found more success in international kickboxing than in traditional muay thai.
