What if a giant beast had snappy lizard/insect like movements?

Large mammals experience a delay between nerve firing and muscle movement that is more than 15 times longer than small mammals.

That's why, even though they are super strong, large beasts like King Kong and Godzilla move slow. Like it takes them a long time to throw a punch compared to Mike Tyson. Because of nerve firing and muscle delay. And I'm guessing at some point laws of physics and stuff dictate that they can't really be snappy in their movements just due to the sheer mass involved.

But imagine if Godzilla could zip around like a gecko. With like no delay in movement and that kind of instantaneous fuckin just like *boom* now I'm over here bitch that'd be some scary shit.

You'd have to hand over control.

It's because something like that doesn't exist that we are top of the food chain.

I guess that's why each species has its pros and cons cause you can't really have
One species Having positively overwhelming attributes like that.

Do you think its possible something could move so fast it c atches on fire? Just from li ke the atmospheric turbulence of something so big moving so fast

Like what if there was an animal that ran so fast it started to catch on fire at top speed lmao thatd be intense

Large saltwater crocs have zero issue snapping multiple parts of the body.

The tail is as deadly as the head.

Super size that and it still snaps just into buildings instead of measly humans.

Godzilla does move slowly.

every time I’ve seen him in real life he doesn’t move that fast.

nice catch there TS. I never thought about it until now.

Yeah they are freaky fast, i still think if you supersized it it would slow down though

Like it would stll be fastbut it wouldnt have that like .03 second snap time, itd take it probably atleqst 2 seconds to snapdue to laws of physics when things get like skyscraper size

Thing is you are correct however it would be to large to avoid getting hit by. And the force generated would be atomic. But yes slower

It could run that fast it'd likely run off the edge of the earth and fall into outer space before it had the chance to catch on fire

It would indeed be formidable, but a large fast human with sound technique could still defeat it...

If our atmosphere had like 3% higher Co2 spiders would be the size of ponies and ants like German shepherds... Don't even think of insects with wings, ladybugs would eat your brains up like chunky yogurt pods.

Wouldnt we be bigger too?

Wed be like Prometheus people
