It's going to be very difficult to replace Bang Ludwig, and now that there is the titleholder in the camp there will probably be a conflict of interest between the fighters.

I wouldn't be surprised if TJ follows Ludwig to his new camp.

dana was trying to throw a wedge between tj and urijiah at the post fight - not surprising as a promoter - i think ludwig is gone though, but tj will fly him in, others might too, for camps

It's gonna be a little shaky.

Urijah was always the big man on campus, now TJ is.

not sure if he was the big man on campus as much as the big brother people look up to - that kind of respect is not only based on recent accomplishments, though faber is doing pretty well - its more about faber helping people out during tough times in their life, not too diff from big nog - people dont turn on that easily

obv many of you guys would, just not people like faber or dillashaw, in my opinion

Personallly i think Dillashaw will no doubt follow Bang & maybe a few others from the camp too. Faber is great but had his day & so has Alpha male.

Except Faber isn't a diva/dbag. Why are people trying to manufacture drama when it's not a girls camp.

When so many times a TAM fighter tried to get a belt and didn't, maybe they'll actually be happy for TJ's win, drink a beer together, and enjoy his success.

    LMAO!

But it's true Urijah seems like a great guy by all accounts. People complain and hate him for the number of title shots but he earned them. Look at his track record. It's unreal.

Have a hard time seeing Urijah just chill on the sidelines long term considering he named his camp "Team Alpha Male". If he keeps beating everyone else in the division I think he's going to want to get a shot at the title at some point.

He can always go to 145. It sucks because I do think he's the best fighter to ever step in the UFC and not win a title. Dan Henderson is right there also. He seems like an awesome guy. He's still elite and so much fun to watch.

umm urijah just got KTFO in his last fight by the guy that lose tonight. He also is fighting a low ranked fighter right now. He shouldnt be talked about as far as title pictures are concerned. Maybe in 2 years if TG is still champ

In 2 years? Have you looked at the top 10 rankings? He's beaten 4 of the top 6 guys not including himself.

But he has already beaten Michael mcdonald, eddie wineland, Raphael Assuncao, Mizugaki, and Alacantra. so 5 of the top ten. Remove the champ, himself, and Barao, and he has 2 top ten opponents that he has not beaten yet. He doesnt fight once a year, so he is gonna get some low ranked guys.

I would guess he is going back to 145 though.

He said he's going to split time between camps; IMO thats the best thing, he'd be an idiot if he let go of Ludwig.

Yea I heard Urijah mention his name in The MMA Hour a couple days ago, but I'm not sure if it's final. Seems like a good pick.
Hominick could've been a good pick as well imo.

As far as I know the reason Bang left the team is because there's no financial future for him there.

I think they're gonna have a sit down after this, or team Alpha Male might lose their two most promising fighters to wherever Ludwig goes. Mendes and Dillashaw look like completely different fighters after he joined the camp.

LOL. She had trouble taking Carmouche down & was easily taken down by her. Wrong nickname. Sadly, "cupcake" is more appropriate because Miesha's "draw" (if any) is based on her looks.

    (real talk)
