US is now deporting around 200 Mexicans daily. Most of these came to the US illegally as kids, then committed crimes and got deported. There's a whole slum section in Tijuana comprised of these people. They are lost. They don't know the Mexican culture and can't get back to the US. The social services in Mexico as you might have guessed are dismal.

I'm thinking before we start deporting a lot more, we need to work with Mexico to make things more acceptable on the other end.

Make it acceptable at the other end? Doesn't seem like Murica's responsibility.

Just because you break into a house, doesn't mean you're the owner.

It is because imagine we deport millions of them, the slum sections across the border will get larger. The deportees are already contributing to a cesspool of drugs and crimes and it's right across the border . It will spill over into the US, just like what is happening to Mexican towns on the other side of Texas.

Like it or not, it is our problem.

The video seems like a good bit of advertising to strengthen security measures to keep that from spilling over.

The US has no obligation to accommodate illegals -- you shouldnt win rewards for breaking the law.

You'd think that eventually, there'd be enough of these people to start forming their own communities in the city, like any other immigrant community.

Little Italy in Manhattan started out as a slum in the 1880s

As in, make Mexico give out welfare? The thing is, you can't target only one aspect of the country and ignore the fact it's only a cog in a cesspool of corruption, criminality, inefficiency. The clean administrative structure just isn't there to support a welfare system. You know that money will never reach the poor, it'll get siphoned out on the way. Although I don't think Mexico has any money to begin with.

This feels like that argument that if I shoot an assailant in my own home that means to do either myself or my family harm that I somehow have violated their right to due process... PRETTY sure they voided that voluntarily when they threatened me.

Yes, Mexico prefers that they leave the border towns and go back to their families but their families are mostly in the US.

As you can see things are not flowing smoothly on the other end even for the current flow rate . There's no way things will be smoother when we dramatically up the number. Things will get congested and the flow will stop just like in a pipe.

Well Mexico is so much better than the U.S., so they should be happy there right?

Illegals shouldn't draw attention to themselves by committing more crimes.

Maybe they can get those wall-building jobs and make something of themselves.:cool:

Sounds like mexicos problems considering they are Mexican citizens

They broke into our house, committed crimes and got kicked out. They are not our responsibility after that

What happens is deportation after that it's not our concern. isnt that supposed to be a perk? It's not a game. Just because you made it over the border doesn't mean you win the grand prize of being a burden..even after removal. Though liberals often treat it as such. "Well they made it. What's their prize Barry?"
