When it comes to obviously wrong decisions like Machida/Shogun I or Korean Zombie/Garcia I?

Can't Dana just move the fighter that was wronged into title contention anyway and switch the title to Shogun in such situations?

Official records will say one story but no one will care.

He's already done it before. Giving robbed fighters their win bonus and saying he's gonna treat it like a win. Did it with the KZ and Garcia fight. He only does it if he likes the fighter though, if not he spews his " don't leave it in the hands of the judges bro " like finishing every fighter is a choice.

They need to put an end to athletic commission

Let the UFC handle it's own organization

Why have judges then? Just let Dana score the fights. Smh

If the UFC refuses to recognize the authority of the commissions, the commissions will not license their events.

refs need to be hired by the commissions
The UFC can support whatever that want
if they feel a fighter has received a bum decision

There's nothing the commissions can do to prevent the UFC from paying fighters more. But like jeicex said, they can either abide by the decisions of the AC, or hold events elsewhere. They can protest them, they can request that certain judges or refs be assigned or not be assigned to events, but in the end the AC has the final decision.

It would completely ruin the credibility of the sport. Having a 3rd party decide the winner of fights is important.

Everytime a popular fighter won a controversial decision, fans would be calling corruption left, right and center, if the UFC chose the winners.

It would also be incredibly confusing to casual fans when the "winner" was announced, but the loser ended up getting a title shot, for example.
