But of all the fighters to pick to work a fight, Mo has to be the worst.

Just look at how Mo's mouth was open at the end of round 1. He was getting tired and being kicked and punched in the belly didn't help either.
 
for some reason cro cop gets like +75 takedown defense rating in the ring as opposed to the cage. like some weird videogame shit

besides that early takedown from catching cro cops low kick cro was stuffing mo over and over

needless to say mi a big fan of cro cop

His TD seems to be the same. he is great at stuffing TDs when he gets them. But he is slower than in his prime and usually can't react as quickly. And while he has a great sprawl his overall wrestling isn't great so he can get taken down against the cage and from other positions. And Mo is also a LHW and Crocop is a really strong HW
 
Mo got punched in the head, fell down, and the fight was over.

As far as the takedown defense, remember that Cro Cop had 20 lbs on Mo in this fight. Mo was the smallest guy in the tourney by nearly 10 lbs
 
CroCop worked him. Nothing suspicious about it.
 
A small LHW was shockingly unable to take down a significantly larger man, and got taken apart on the feet.

You should pitch an idea to Sherdog about a yearly article in which you are given one sentence to describe the top 20 or so fights that have happened that year.
It would be short enough to fit the standard length of attention span on this site, and I think you nailed the description of that fight quite well.
 
Is this a serious thread? Ya Mo got hurt with a body kick late in the first, but what finished him were uppercuts to the head.

And it's not like seeing Mo get dropped/hurt is some sort of rarity.

Oh look, a well known western wrestler lost in Japan, better make the obligatory "fixed/worked/sketchy" post

Some of you people are ridiculous, it's clear Mo got blasted with an uppercut and then Cro Cop kept up with the strikes. Nothing sketchy about it.
 
Caught him with a hard left uppercut... then Mirko threw another left....then another, again with the left....etc
