Age and fight mileage. Like someone said, if he was 10 years younger he could have been a very fun guy with a much longer career.
I actually played parts of 2 seasons in the league that he played and it is a grind. Seriously heavy physical hockey, lots of fights ect. I suffered multiple injuries myself. You’re fighting twice a week, playing very physical hockey and he did it for 10+ seasons. I’m sure he was wel past his prime when we saw him.. still a fun fighter thoughz
