What happened to Rick Story?

The guy waited 2 years too long to switch camps (blowing 2 years of his prime), finally switched camps, has 2 solid wins and hasn't been heard from.

Who's he gunna fight next?
 
I believe he got injured during the Nelson fight and has been dealing with more since, but I'm not totally sure. He isn't the most active when it comes to social media.
 
I think he broke his foot vs Gunnar but it should have healed by now, I dont know what is going on right now. Oh and I still cant believe a judge gave the fight to Gunnar, lol.

Yeah that fight exposed Gunnar big time for a Karate focus game and zero boxing.

Fighters got to learn to use Social Media to build their brand now and days. I dont mean like acting like Conar or Chael. Just try to interact with fans when you are not fighting through Twitter and facebook etc..
 
I'd forgotten that Story has wins over Hendricks, Alves and Ellenberger.

Weird that Hendricks went on to win the title and stay in the title picture even after losing it, while Story is almost forgotten.

Hendricks doesn't have losses to Kampmann, Maia, Pyle, and Gastelum, though.

Yeah Story is criminally underrated. I think it's because for the people who seemingly only watch PPVs, Story's last real performance to them was that 1st round choke job vs Maia. To me, Story is a legit top 10 WW.

The fight was extremely close. I remember when they were about to read the decision thinking Gastelum would lose, but I didn't have a strong opinion. Either way, Story has been hot and cold. He'll get a big win or two against good comp, then he'll lose to other mid-top tier guys. It just seems to be his inconsistencies... I mean, he lost to Charlie Brenneman during that whole Nate Marquardt fiasco, but that was on as short notice a fight the UFC has ever done.

2 of those losses were really really close. I thought he beat Pyle and I thought the Gastelum fight was close enough that he could've earned the nod. Definitely lost to Maia and Kampmann though.
 
I feel bad for Rick. There was a time when I was absolutely convinced he was going to hold a belt. He has all the potential and he's entertaining to watch.

On a two fight win streak now, hope he keeps up the winning ways.
 
I'd like to see him vs. wonderboy. I doubt it will happen though.
 
TRT testing scared him?

he used to look much bigger then in later fights got smaller

I think GSP was also on TRT or steroids, has the steroid gut
